APOLARITY

so there’s this jehovah’s witness lady that is a “regular” at work. she is always trying to convert the employees by talking about how great her religion is and her life and the last conference and the 6 most recent watchtower magazines and would you like one? kind of annoying on that matter alone, but it makes it worse when combined with a personality that is demeaning and condescending. her drink is a soy, extra dry cappuccino (dry meaning made with really foamy milk instead of the heavy liquid part). except she insists on calling it a latte (which hardly has any foam in it) and saying the word “free-pour” about 4 times. she will look at the person on the bar, then loook back at the person to whom she is paying, and ask “does he/she know how to make it?” she also intimidates the barista by staring at them and saying things like “it’s too heavy. i can tell already.”

needless to say, most of my co-workers detest this woman. i try to be tolerant of her but really dont want to go into it with her on religion, expecially at work. something about it strikes me as “pearls before swine.” i dont know.
